You Are My Sunshine

Hello friends!

Danielle here sharing a card I made using My Sunshine, one of the new sets from our July release. I love how this set lends itself so easily to creating cards with a bold sentiment as the focal point!

mysunshine

For this card I watercolored some yellow and orange in no particular order, just randomly on the paper.  While that dried I stamped the sentiment and peeking sun in Versamark on some vellum, and then used black embossing powder to heat emboss it.  Once my watercolor panel was dry I lightly attached the vellum square with the sentiment to the front, and stitched across the top a few times.  I finished it off with some enamel dots, and then attached it to my card base!

And here is a close up

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope it is sunny wherever you are :)

Origami Map

Hey Neat & Tangled fans! It is Rachel here today sharing a card using the Origami Map stamp & die. I adore this set and always think it looks so great watercolored. I decided to keep it quick & simple and go with a rainbow theme to match the sentiment 'My world is brighter because of you'.

I did some simple stripes across the entire map. I wanted the map to be the star of the card, so I kept the rest simple. I used a thin strip of grey washi along the bottom and heat embossed the sentiment in white on a grey strip of cardstock. I balanced the top with a grey twine bow. I love bright colors combined with grey. This is such a sweet sentiment and great for sending to a friend who is far away (easy for me as I live in Switzerland and have so many friends across the ocean!).

Hope you are all having a great week so far! Thanks for stopping by today.

xxx happy birthday xxx

Hello, it's Amy here with a birthday card:

My goal is to design more birthday cards over the next several weeks.  I never seem to have any on hand, my go-to card designs are hello'ish.

This one incorporates the new Hand Stitched stamp and coordinating Nice + Neat Dies!  The speech bubble is from the Out of the Box stamp set.  One of my all time favorite Nice + Neat die has to be the Box one.

stamps:  hand stitched, out of the box  nice  + neat dies:  hand stitched, box and graduated stripes coverplate

Lots of die-cutting so I'm linking up to the Little Tangles Challenge:

Video: Clean and Simple Card using Copic Markers by May

Hi, crafty friends! It's May here today sharing a clean and simple card. I wanted to create a fun scene using the dog image from Woof stamp setHere is what I came up with:

The silly doggie is having so much fun in the water park. It looks like he finds the best way to cool off himself on a hot summer day. I'm not sure what play he is enjoying, though. Lol! :)

I heat embossed the swim tube with some Clear Ultra Thick Enamel embossing powder from Ranger to create a wet look. It’s a shame my camera failed to catch the glossy look on the tube. They look way better in real life.

I made a processing video on how I created my card. You can watch my video tutorial here or in HD on YouTube. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, too.

That's all I have today. Hope my dog card brightened your day. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Cross-Stitched Wreath

Hello there!
Mayuri here to share a card that uses a couple of stamps from one of the new July Release sets to create a simple, quick and easy card!

©Candles in the Garden. Neat and Tangled Monthly Post JUL2015. Cross-Stitched Wreath

I created the wreath by stamping the line of cross-stitches from Hand Stitched around a circle, with a rainbow assortment of Distress Inks onto a panel of white cardstock.

I then used the single cross-stitch to stamp the heart in the middle of the wreath. I think I'm really gonna enjoy creating lots of other images just with this one, tiny stamp!

I stamped a sentiment from the same set and foam mounted the panel to a white card base. I added a twine bow at the top of the wreath and a couple of sequins from various mixes, also available in the Neat & Tangled store.

Quick, simple and effective! Thanks for stopping by ;-)

Video. Hello Lovely Faux Handstitched Card

Good morning (or is it evening somewhere?) friends! Yana is here with you today sharing a new project and video tutorial featuring some of my favorite Neat & Tangled July 2015 Release goodies. If you haven't seen the new products, be sure to check them out in Neat & Tangled online store and remember, with every $50 order you place you receive My Sunshine stamp set for free, sweet!

We always have favorite products and I am no different. The minute I saw the Hand stitched stamp set I fell in love with it and felt inspired to create.

I just adore the little stitches on the floral images! And the small individual cross stitch image? Perfect fo stamping your own custom patterns!

Here's a closer look at my project - I've used grey ink for the background stamping as I didn't want it to be as defined as the stamping on the die cut circle, I didn't want it to distract from the main floral image and the Hello Lovely sentiment:

I'm sharing a video tutorial showing you in details how I created this card. I'm also including a few of my other Neat & Tangled favorites along with the cards I created to give you some more inspiration. You can watch my video below or on Youtube:
